What Is Chicken Parmesan Sliders
These are mini burger-like sandwiches that are popular in American culture and all over the world. We use the term slider to describe a sandwich that is grilled or baked and is normally made of a bun that is 2 inches across. Now sliders are made with a variety of meats and cheese.
- The name came about in the 1940s when a soldier would refer to the greasy mini burger as a slider due to how greasy and easy to eat they were.

When To Serve?
Sliders are perfect for parties such as baby showers, or birthday parties. You can not go wrong serving these tasty bites at game night with your family or friends. We all know that these are perfect for dessert after meals or entrees before meals.
I know you guys already saw this coming, but, you can not have a mini burger without having fries bedside it. Another variation to fries is grilled potato slices. My personal favorite however is to have it with roasted or mashed potatoes and a soda.
We use butter in so many recipes and for good reason too. In this recipe, you use butter to brush over the bread in order to add flavor and color. using butter as a source of fat in most baked goods adds leavening and moisture.

For the sliders:
- 12 large dinner rolls
- 6-8 breaded crispy chicken strips
- 1 1/2 cups shredded cheese (divided)
- 1 cup pizza sauce(set aside more for serving)
- 1/4 cup fresh grated Parmesan
For the butter sauce
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter(melted)
- 1 tbsp freshly chopped parsley leaves
- 1/2 tsp granulated garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
- 1/4 tsp dried basil
- 1/4 tsp dried oregano
- Pinch of salt
- grated Parmesan cheese
- Extra marinara or pizza sauce for dipping
Preheat the oven to the temperature that is stated on the chicken strip package. Cut the chicken strips to fit all 12 bread rolls and set them aside.
Combine garlic, oregano, melted butter, basil, salt, 1tbsp fresh chopped parsley, and crushed red pepper and mix well.
Turn on the broiler to preheat.
Slice through the side length of the bread rolls, dividing them in half. On parchment paper place the cut side of the bread facing up and place in a baking dish. Spread 1 cup of pizza sauce on the rolls when they are removed from the oven. Add the Mozzarella generously, then add the chicken strips. After which you add Parmesan, Finally covering with the top of the rolls.
Brush more of the herb mixture over the top of the buns and bake in the preheated oven at 204°C for 10-15 minutes.
After they are done baking brush the buns once more. Sprinkle with chopped parsley and grated Parmesan and serve right away.
