This is by far one of the most versatile product for solving all sorts of cleaning problems. Many cleaning companies use this product and make everything look so easy to the persons who did not know that this was all they would need instead of paying for expensive cleaning services.

1. Clean toilet bowl
Just spray a small amount of WD-40 on any limescale that has built up in your toilet and wait for about three minutes for it to soften. Use toilet to scrub away all the now loosened grime and it will be as good as new.

2. Remove crayon marks
WD-40 is great for dissolving crayon marks from all sorts of surfaces such as countertops, walls, fabrics and so much more.

WD-40 will also remove marker and crayon from furniture and appliances!

3. Keep water stains off the glass shower doors.
Just spread some WD-40 on glass shower doors and the soapy grime and watermarks will not get a chance to build up.

4. Lift off stickers and stuck-on adhesive easily.
Get rid of stickers and stuck-on adhesive with WD-40. Spray on WD-40 and let it sit for at least 5 minutes. Then use a sponge to scrub away the glue and paper.

5. Remove stuck rings on a finger

If for any reason a ring is on your finger and is stubborn to come off, spray some WD-40 on that finger and it will slide right off.

6. Remove tea and coffee stains from countertops
Wipe away tea and coffee stains from countertops with WD-40.
Spray a little WD-40 on a sponge or damp cloth and wipe the stain away.

7. Keep scissors working smoothly
Just spray a little in the joint area of the scissors, this keeps scissors working smoothly.

8. Prevent snow buildup on windows.  During winter the snow gets onto our cars and house windows and obscure our vision of the outside and can cause an accident while driving. Prevent snow buildup on windows by glazing them with WD-40.

9.Remove chewing gum with ease

If gum gets stuck in your carpet, shoe, or hair, spray WD-40 directly on, allow it to set for a few minutes, then pull the gum off.

10. Waterproof shoes 
Spray WD-40 and spread it on your shoes to prevent water from seeping in during a wet season. Not only does it create a waterproof barrier on shoes, it will also help remove any salt stains on boots during the winter months. Just spray onto the stains and wipe with a clean rag.

11. Limescale Remover

Remove all that limescale from your kitchen sink and face basins with just a touch of WD-40. Wet the area and it will soften in minutes, scrub away with scotch bright.

          It is best to cover your nose when using this product. Or you may move from the area of concentration as soon as you can after using. The fumes are not healthy to inhale. Just like modern air fresheners, you should not consume too much of the concentrated fumes from any kind of product of this sort.

  4. Also cleans stainless steel refrigerators beautifully. And great for bee stings…take the pain right out.

  5. The name stands for WATER DISPLACEMENT 40! This is not really a great lubricant or water repellant.
    Although some of these hacks are valid, because the carrier solvent does a job, for true lubricant qualities, you should really buy a product that stats it contains “Silicone ”
    Like for example, to spray on shoes….
