The whole idea of using natural cleaning solutions is to improve our overall health and thereby expanding our lives in the process. The truth is that certain cleaning chemicals are scientifically proven to cause cancer and other terminal illnesses. Some studies even show that women who stay at home are at a higher risk of dying from cancer than those who work outside the home. And the main cause of this is due to the use of certain cleaning chemicals that are inhaled which slowly destroy them without least thought. Here are some Natural Cleaning Tips that are so cheap and healthy you will never want to stop using them.

 1. To Clean Countertops

2 cups Vinegar -Note:(for marble, stone or granite tops use vodka or rubbing alcohol instead)

2 Cups water

6 drops of essential oil.

Combine all ingredients and use to wipe and sanitize countertops with a sponge then buff with a dry cloth.

2. To Clean Cutting Boards

1 Lemon cut in half

1/4 cup Coarse or kosher salt

Rub lemon onto cutting (plastic or wood) sprinkle salt all over and let sit for five minutes. Then rub hard with the half lemon and rinse. It will be so clean. Note: Vodka or vinegar can also be used to sanitize cutting boards.

3. To Clean Oven

1 cup vinegar

1 cup water

1/2 cup baking soda or salt

Combine water with vinegar, heat oven to low temperature for 3 minutes then turn off. Spray solution all over in the oven and then sprinkle baking soda or salt on to the damped surfaces. Let soak for 20 minutes or as the oven cools down to clean away with wet scouring pad dish soap.

4. Clearing food from the Garbage Disposal

Pour 1 cup of vinegar into an ice cube tray and top off the slots with water. Once they’re frozen, toss a few down the disposal and let it run—doing so should remove any food that was stuck in the blades.

5. Microwave

Pour some vinegar into a small bowl or cup and mix in a little lemon juice. Put the cup in the microwave, let the microwave run for 2 minutes, and leave the door closed for 15 more minutes. Finally, open the door and simply wipe down all the sides with a cloth or sponge -no need to scrub.

6.To clear Clogged Sink Drain

Pour in 1/2 cup of baking soda in the drain, then add 1/2 cup vinegar and let sit for five minutes. Pour in 1/2 gallon of hot water to wash away the grime. It is recommended to repeat the process to have the best result.

7 To De-Grease frying pan

To cut through the grime on frying pans, apply some salt and scrub vigorously. Or heat the pan and apply some borax, then spray on some vinegar, the grease will lift off in minutes. Scrub and rinse.

8. To Clean Cast-Iron Pans

Kitchen professionals do not recommend using soap, steel wool, or dishwashers to clean cast-iron pans. The recommended alternative is: combine olive oil and a teaspoon of coarse salt in the pan. Scrub with a stiff brush, rinse with hot water and that is it.

Tip

To combat mold especially under the kitchen sink. Sprinkle Baking soda or borax and leave it there. The areas that are not ventilated are prone to mold build up. So, pay attention to the areas such as under sinks and face basins, dry walls etc.
